Display stand
Showcasing
Additive Center needed a display for both office use and events, suitable for showcasing metal and plastic parts. It had to function as a standalone piece while fitting into a future set.
The design is a sleek column with a screen for product information and a custom 3D-printed holder for the items. Made from cardboard with wooden accents, it features the company’s logo and pattern. The screen is housed in a foam board compartment with magnetic access, while the minimal white holder keeps the focus on the displayed product.
This was the first real product I independently created for a company, giving me the opportunity to experience the process from start to finish. I learned to consider safety regulations and ensure a high-quality final finish, making it suitable for both events and office use. Futhermore, it was interesting to apply the companies branding in a way that clearly identified it as part of Additive Center while ensuring it didn’t overshadow the products themselves. After a lot of sketching and brainstorming, I developed a pattern based on the logo. This process taught me how to create a design that aligns seamlessly with a company’s branding while remaining subtle and versatile, and it has since been applied to additional marketing materials.
